If you have on the local system a similar file (same field, same record
format) but with another name, you can issu an OVRDBF before the
compile.

Every now and then, I need to access a file on both local and remote
systems in a RPG program.  In the F spec I normal put a made up file
name to refer the remote DDM file.  See example below:
FCUSMAST   IF   E           K DISK  
FCUSMASTDDMIF   E           K DISK    usropn 
  
Everything is fine, until I need to compile or recompile it due to file
changes.  Compiler errors it out because CUSTMASTDDM doesn't really
exist.  It would be nice if we can have a keyword that specify the
actual file to use when compiling it.
