RE: Recovering deleted records

I remember someone suggested 
Cpyf your file to some other library with "Compress out deleted records=*YES", 
then compare it with the original file. The additional records in the copied 
files are deleted records.
Never tested, but sounds like it would work.

I know ProData http://www.prodatacomputer.com/ has a utility to recover
deleted records, and Jim Sloan's TAATOOL package http://www.taatool.com/
includes a utility to recover deleted records. I haven't used either one, so
I can't comment on ease of use.

        We have a need to recover deleted records from a PF. They are still
"there" because we have not RGZPFMed the file and a WRKF tells me there are
deleted recs present. How can I undelete these? I saw a post in the archives
where I can d/l a freeware utility from www.iseriesnetwork.com, but we are
not a member of that site.
