On this issue, I have been changing my habits to use QRPLOBJ instead of
QTEMP.  Just don't use an object name beginning with 'Q'.

Might require some programming changes if you rely on end-of-job to
automatically delete your qtemp objects.  If not, it'll be gone at next IPL.
