I have an RPG application that displays account information in a display
file (5250 emulation/iSeries Access). Among the information displayed
is a phone number, which our agents must manually dial. Our phone
system is TAPI compliant.

I would like to give our agents a command key to press (or click) to
dial the phone number for them. Has anyone on this list done this? Any
documentation I could be directed to to get more information?

My first guess is that I'll need to do some sockets programming, which
I've never done before, but I'll stick with my motto:
