Select SRCDAT RANGE date_from date to

Or use SQL 400. Override file QRPGSRC, library YOURLIB, member YOUR_SOURCE
to XXX
Select XXX where srcdat between date_from and date_to

If it's not too big a date range, you could first hide/exclude everything,
then scan for those dates.  The SEU manual doesn't show any way to do what
you're looking for.

I'm still looking for the SEU add-on to split lines using F7.  I found
Buck's post at
http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l/200008/msg00028.html and I'll have to
give that a go.
