I'm probably going to be one of many, but try:

        dateVar = dateVar + %Months(noOfMonths);

A simple question.  How can I add one month to a date variable... in free
format?  ADDDUR doesn't work with free-format, so I imagine there's some
way, using the invisible EVAL.
