Yes and no.   That works fine for me testing or using this program from
my PC,  but when I push it out the the RF devices there will be no
windows on them.  Maybe there is a setting on them that I can adjust.  I
will have to wait until we have the iseries connection configured on
them to test that.

Ah I got it.  You are talking about the ALARM keyword on the DSPF.  That

you can change through windows.  It uses the Default Beep setting in the

control panel for the sounds scheme.  If you change the setting for the 
Default Beep to be another wave file, you can make it different, longer,

but for louder, you would probably have to record a new wave file and 
increase it's default volume by a few decibels.  I'm pretty sure this is

what you are looking for.

   Does anyone know of a way to make the alarm sound louder or longer?
I created an application for some RF guns and they are use to it beeping
when the transaction is sent.  They are in a loud environment and need
it louder.
