Are we talking RPG III? You can define a stand-alone field as zoned in your
D-SPEC in RPGIV using 'S' in the data type field (position 40)

But is there a way I can define a variable as zoned ? Because if I am
defining it using Z-Add *Zeros 4,0 it takes it as packed by default.
Why so ?
