RE: POCKET PC devices and RPG

There has been some discussion in the past on the IBM newsgroup with regard
to using IBM's VisualAge RPG for this purpose.  The reason that can work
even though the product does not directly support it is that VARPG can
generate Java from the RPG to allow RPG code to run on any platform.  It
uses the Java Toolbox to communicate with the 400 etc.

I would suggest you check out news.software.ibm.com and look for the VARPG
news group for further information - I know people have considered doing it,
don't know if any have succeeded yet.
