Having some trouble taking an existing program that has an internally
described printer file and making it externally defined. I've got the
positions and everything set right and it looks great on the 400 until I
print them. On the 400 displaying the spool files, they both match
perfectly. When I print them, the internal printer file prints to the
outer most edges like it always has, however the new external printer file
seems to reduce the text size and I'm left with about 2-3 inches of white
space to the right of the report. Both printer files are printing 132
characters across the page, and their printer file attributes match except
for one thing, the record length. On the internal printer file the record
length shows as 132, whereas the external printer file it shows as
*RCDFMT. The rest of the attributes are a perfect match. Page size is
defined as length 68, width 132, LPI 8, CPI 10, ovrflw 62. No matter what
I've tried so far I can't seem to get them to print the same on a laser
printer. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks,

Ron Power
