You can add a break-handling program to the message queue.
Look up Break-handling in the InfoCenter for an example.

Subject: API for status of job in message wait status

I have a RPG job menu program that submits and monitors jobs. It does
display the status of the job (*ACTIVE,*JOBQ,etc) using the API QWCRJBST.
What is the API that will dsplay the message wait status? *MSGW. Any
examples of it?

Also from that same RPG program, I need to retrieve the messages from the
QSYSOPR message queue. Can not figure out how to do this one.

thank you
Wanda
