Hi Amir,

an other way to determine the day of the week of any date is to use SQL
Scalar functions.

DayOfWeek(Date) returns 1 for Sunday and 7 for Saturday

DayOfWeek_Iso(Date) returns 1 for Monday and 7 for Saturday

Here an example:

D DateIso S D DatFmt(*Iso) inz(D'2004-05-03')

D DayWeek S 1P 0

C/Exec SQL Set :DayWeek = DayOfWeek(:DateIso)

C/End-Exec

C DateIso dsply

C/Exec SQL Set :DayWeek = DayOfWeek_Iso(:DateIso)

C/End-Exec

C DateIso dsply

C Eval *inLR = *On
