I don't know alot of java or web programming but is there a such thing as
an input mask?

You can't protect part of a field, but you could concatenate the HTTP://
together with the url in code.

Is there a way to protect a part of a input-field ??
In our address file we have a e-mail address and a webpage address field.
This has to be entered by the users.
The problem is that they often forget to put 'HTTP://"; or "MAILTO:"; in
front.
If I could protect these prefixes in the field this should be solved.
