Capturing the Window close in AS400

Hi,
        I am working on a research item.  When an application is running 
on an AS400 screen, for e.g some maintenance Menu, if the user closes the 
window by clicking 'X' which is on the top right corner instead of signing 
off, how do we track that the window is closed??

Or can we have a cut off time set which will detect that the system is 
idle for a period of time and close the session?

How can we achieve this?
