I completely agree on this point, and stopped using blank-after around 1979
or 80 for that very reason.  (I mention this, partially because, no, I do
NOT just believe that Everything old is good, a-TALL.)

And this would be the essence of the conundrum many face in the computer
industry today, because they haven't YET learnt that putting calcs in
browser-code is poor programming practice.  (Putting a widget in a browser
being completely different.)  Not to mention the security risks that
Necessarily go along.
