So no excuse for not understanding--even without a CS degree, eh? Some others on this list could learn from your example.


Apparently, the 'learning by osmosis' methodology has some imperfections, in
that there seems to be substantial discussion on precisely what expressions
are and how they are supposed to work. I guess I am glad to be less capable
in the osmotic knowledge absorbtion department, because actually looking it
up seems far easier than endlessly debating impressions.

That has to be the most oblique version of RTFM I've read in a long while. Well said! (But methinks he doth deprecate too much--to take liberties with the Bard of Avon's words--mind you he took a few himself.)
