If your application stores the data as numeric, simply use: %trim(%editc(number: 'Z'))

If your field is alpha, but contains only valid nun=mbers use: %trim(%editc(%dec(alpha: 7: 0): 'Z')) - this will work even if you have trailing blanks. If your field contains non valid numbers, you will need to use test or monitor.
