"RPG400 Program could have maximum of 50 files with following limitations.
1. Max. of One Primary File per program.
2. Max. of Eight Printer Files per program.
3. Max. of Eight Display Files per program.
Whatever may be the case but total numbers of files in a program can not
exceed 50."

I just read the info from the manuals the link that somebody sent me.

This is on the ILE RPG for AS400 Reference Manual
Document #: SC09-2508-02, Build Date: 03/23/99 17:38:15 Build Version: 1.3.0,
Book Path: /home/webapps/epubs/htdocs/book/qb3agz03.boo

Chapter 14: File Description Specifications:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr/BOOKS/QB3AGZ03/3.3?DT=19990323173815

... and there is also the expression of "50 files". This is on the RPG/400
Reference Manual
Document Number: SC09-1817-00
Build Date: 03/25/94 19:15:14 Build Version: 1.2
Book Path: /home/webapps/epubs/htdocs/book/qbkaqv00.boo

A.0 Appendix A. RPG/400 Restrictions:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr/BOOKS/QBKAQV00/A.0

So the basic difference is that the first one is ILE/RPG (where the enhancement
is) and the second one is RPG/400.

Correct guys?
