Actually in consulting with another group, I think I have solved the issue.
I added OVRSCOPE(*JOB) to the override, and it seems it is keeping the
override. Without that the override would disappear. I can't believe the
users didn't report more issues with this than they did. If I have any more
issues, I will reopen this discussion.

I think the OVRDBF is working fine.  Your problem is probably that the file
has the purchase orders to be printed for all companies.  Your CPYF is
getting all those records.  Lawson has a method for determining which
company is being processed so you'll probably have to investigate that.  

This is all just guessing, of course, but we have Lawson here and this would
be consistent with how the financials stuff works.

So... in my exit program, I need to know what POs to process, so I take a
copy of their work file and I use that to get all of the POs I have to
process. I thought I would put this in QTEMP with an override so that I can
have more than one running at a time.
