Subject: "Processing Request. Please Wait"

Hello,

Is there a way to have a pop-up window display instructions, while an
interactive program(not a batch program) is running in the background?

I'm working on an interactive display program where the user enters in
selection criteria and presses Enter. When Enter is pressed the program
calls another
program which processes the data and generates a report. Most of the time
the program that processes the data takes less than a few seconds to run.
Sometimes the program can take up to 30 to 60 seconds to run. While the
program processes the data, I would like a pop-up window to display
something similar to: "Processing Request. Please Wait".

Any ideas?

TIA,

Frank
