Joe, doesn't one lose the value of reusable code if you can not depend upon
it? The few times that these kinds of errors surface are worth the wins of
not having to write the same code over and over. Brad should have a drink or
two, but there's no fault to be passed around in this scenario.

Let's see. You reused a piece of code you didn't write, assumed the way
it worked, and when it didn't work that way, you blame it on program
architecture.
