You probably need to tell us a little more about your problem...

1. how close does the resulting fraction need to be... within 1/32, 1/64?
2. how do you need to handle rounding? does fractional result need to
always round up (ie, for tool sizes, you must always round up to the next
size.)
3. is high performance necessary?

My first suggestions would be to create a table of decimal values and their
fractional equivalents. SetLL on the decimal key and read the factional
result.

Otherwise, an algorythm could be designed to calculate the fraction.

Subject: Convert Decimal to Fractional Notation

Does anyone have an example of converting a decimal number to it's
fractional equivalent?

For example: 15.3750 = 15-3/8

The decimal field to convert is a 10/4 field. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
