Thank you so if I understand you the CRTBNDRPG will just show all files 
from modules but not the module it came from and the CRTRPGMOD / CRTPGM 
will ?

The package here runs it own command to create programs, etc. Person who 
ran the command wanted to check level to see if new file version was pick 
up by module after create command. DSPPGMREF showed file but not module it 
came from.  Main pgm does CALLB to module and Module is there.

CRTBNDRPG handles it a little differently than CRTRPGMOD and CRTPGM.
