Janell, you have already seen many useful hints for using overlaying
subfields in a Data Structure to achieve the output of array elements.  You
also asked about sources of information regarding Externally Described
printer files.  The DDS Reference you know.  Have you taken a look at the
Printer Device Programming Guide and the Printing IV, V and VI Redbooks?
As always, these publications are downloadable from the IBM website, (if
you don't already have the CD's).
