*PRTF has a reserved word of TIME. Much easier. External printer files are
your friend.

Why not just use an 8 alpha field i the first place?

(Boy am I glad to see another one that has brain flats and will admit it)

Subject: TIME command

Okay, I feel like a real dunce asking for help with this but I'm having
trouble getting the time in my report header. I'm using the TIME opcode and
moving it to a numeric field (per Cozzi's book), then using the numeric
field in the report header. Simple, right? Somehow I keep getting spaces in
it and the report blows up.

So could someone please help me cure this brain fart of mine? TIA.
