If you are using CODE or WDSCi manuals are available in the Help tab.
If not using those, then why not download the redbook "Who Knew ..." and put
it on their desktop.  
When I was consulting I was carrying a CD-ROM with downloaded manuals from
IBM on it.
Part of OJT should be learning how to use the references available.

PDF's and Word documents don't require shipping charges via email ;-).  I
was hoping maybe someone had an electronic version of a beginner manual on
their PC or on a diskette that they could share.

Hello everyone,

We have 2 employees that are going through OJT in RPG/400.  One of our
senior programmers is training them and doing a great job.  1 of the
trainees sits next to me and although I don't mind to help every now and
then, I have work I need to get cleared off my desk too.  The trainee
doesn't have any non-ibm manuals to reference.  Does anyone have any PDF's
or Word Docs that they could send to help them out with learning RPG/400?
