Re: Convert upper case to lower case

search the archives for %xlate.  Make sure you substring it to not convert 
the first letter.

     D Upr             C Const('ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ')
     D Lwr             C Const('abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz')
     C     LW:UP         XLATE     FromFmt       FromFmtWrk
In your case transpose LW:UP to UP:LW

I need a program or utility that will convert a name field from all UPPER 
case to lower case.  The first letter must be/stay Upper case.  Is there a 
program or API that might do this? 
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
