I'm a bit confused about using the SFLMODE keyword. I have a subfile which is initially displayed in the SFLDROP mode. I use indicator CA05 to control the folding and dropping on the display. If the user hits the enter key, the subfile is processed, files are updated, and the subfile is reloaded.

At this time, I check to see what mode the file is in (folded/dropped) and store a value to indicate this in another field. Right before the EXFMT on the control record I check that value and turn on/off *IN05 to expand or collapse the subfile as previously viewed. This does not seem to be working. After the updates and reload are performed, if the subfile was previously displayed in folded view, it is displayed in dropped view again.

Is there something simple that I am missing? All I want to do is display the subfile in the same mode as displayed before the enter key is pressed.
