If you use the same messages over and over, I think the most elegant
approach would be to have subprocedures to create the message data. 
Then the subprocedure can just define a data structure with the correct
layout, and assign the parameters to the subfields.

       eval  MsgData = XYZ0031_data (filename : filelib : size)
