 My opinion is, that is not the right way to overcome this hurdle. In case,
you really want to display some other messages, what will happen to that
"Footer alike" Message?
 I've already got the right solution. If you want i can explain.

Hi Paramasivam Murugesan,

i did have the same problem with the overlayinng a record in a subfile. i 
couldnt solve the problem but i do have an alternative. what you need to do 
is in the subfile control keyword we have an option for subfile messages. 
give your message, in our case "F3=Exit..." and seton the indicator. it 
works fine in my program. give it a shot..
