Thank you to everyone who replies to my question..........The check(er) is
working for me.
Another question about this issue......is there an easy way that I can
encrypt the charge card number to the file and un-encrypt it for viewing by
certain people? Is there a command on the 400 or in TAATOOLS?

"I've used CHECK(ER) for fields in the DDS to generate an auto-enter. This
happens when they field-exit a field or fill in the last position. Using
arrows or tabbing out of the field does nothing."

This was my original point. You "must fill" the last position to do
something.
You need the input of the keyboard. Having a mouse floating over the field
will
not do "something" unless a different programming approach is taken...
