I HAVE A LEGACY SYSTEM IN THE MAJORITY OF THE FILES THE KEY IS A 7/0
NUMBER.

 

IN OUR NEW SOFTWARE THE ITEM# IS 8/0.

 

IS THERE A WAY TO CREATE A LOGICAL FILE OVER THE 8/0 FILE BUT MAKE THE
KEY NUMERIC 7/0.

 

I TRIED SST BUT IT PRODUCES A CHAR KEY.

 

I HAVE BEEN THRU SEVERAL DDS MANUALS. I THINK IT IS A NO GO.
