RE: Secret SEU commands > SPLITTING LINES

What I wanted to be able to do was to be able to insert things like setting
on LR and RETURN, the skeleton of a *ENTRY PLIST or KLIST, SELECT block etc
- from a line command... so if I type LR in the line command, I would get
the source to set on LR and RETURN inserted... What I've done is to put the
source fragments into a file, keyed with the line command I want to use to
insert them and a sequence number to order them. The SEU exit program gets
the SEU command supplied, reads all records (if any) from the file with that
command as a key and returns them.. I also added a '?' command which pops up
a little window subfile that lets me pick the one I want.

Unlike IBM's own example in the SEU manual, this one actually works (with no
modifications
either)!

I'm curious tho, Stu, how did you customize yours?

And, Buck, you state that this is a "boilerplate more than anything else".
How so?  Is it to show
that you've got a working example of a function key command and a line
command?  And, so, now we
can "roll" our own?

One more item to cross off my wish list!
