If you are talking about AS/400 queries then you can do WRKQRY command.
>From this screen you can do a 6 to print the query definition. It will
show
you the files and their links, created fields, selected fields, data
selection, report layout, etc.

Subject: Converting a Query to RPG

Hi Group
I have to convert queries to RPG programs. But where do I get ALL the
information about a query? I mean the files it uses, how the files are
joined, selected fields, sort order, report headings, summary functions etc.
How can I get those information?

TIA
Amitava
