<shrug> Not a demand, just my opinion. And not a new one at that. This
isn't the first I've suggested that Hans' talents might be better used in a
different venue. I think people like you, Hans and evidently Brad have
ideas that are counter to the long-term success of the language. Since
neither you nor Brad have any influence on the success of me or my clients,
I can safely ignore you. Hans has a direct impact on the future viability
of my clients, so I have to view his attitude more closely. Having done so,
it is my opinion that Hans' distaste for RPG and lack of appreciation of
legacy systems makes it likely that left unguided his strategic decisions
will hinder the progress of my clients, and since his recent absence seems
to have aggravated rather than ameliorated that position, it's my duty to
say so.

Anyway, debating with you whether additional enhancements such as operand
descriptors are more important than inkjet support is useless. It's a
matter of opinion, and I find yours to be strategically unsound. I could be
wrong, and perhaps the list agrees with you. If the majority of folks on
the list, after reading your recent posts on RPG, think that you, Hans and
Brad can best decide what they need, then I have nothing more to contribute.

Joe
