Hate to argue with David - but as from V5R1 there is no need for Toolkit.
Java can call native RPG methods directly and very simply through JNI.

To be honest, I haven't researched these techniques ... I'm stuck at V4R4 for the foreseeable future. Last time I looked at JNI, it was very complex and difficult... so things may have changed.


I *DO* like the PCML ideas ... which I am in the process of utilizing. Seems quite elegant & straight forward.
