I am trying to use the printf() function in my RPG program. I believe I set
everything up correctly (compiles and runs), but I don't see the result of
the printf function.

Where does it go?

It goes to stdout, which should be displayed on your screen if the program is called from an OS/400 command line. If you want the result of the function in your program, use function "sprintf()", which puts the result in a character string variable specified as the first argument.
