Re: Adding another subfield to an externally defined data structu re.

You say you are chaining/reading into a datastructure.  Is the following 
true:
- Your file was internally defined, even though your data structure may 
have been externally defined.
If so, by reading/chaining into a data structure you get contiguous.  The 
new thing is that externally defined files may now be read into a data 
structure.  But that data structure needs to use LIKEREC.
