Hey... I am just looking for the opinion of my fellow programmers here one
the "proper" way of doing this. 

I am just starting to investigate the free format. I actually can't wait to
try it. However, this is the one thing that I want to know what the best way
around this ideology would be.

Because the free programmers think it's ugly, so you should change your
programming style.  That's the gist of the argument on this point.
