RE: compiling an RPGLE pgm

Sample bite:
Default activation group . . . .   *no 
Activation group . . . . . . . .   QILE

Could affect any overrides done in CL.

Cure
1)  Don't use CL.  Instead do any overrides in the RPG.  Many of what you 
used to override can be done with F spec keywords, or at worst, API's.
2)  Don't default to Activation group . . . . . . . .   QILE.  Instead use 
*CALLER until you know what you are doing.

Even better yet.  Add these following lines to your H specs:
     H ActGrp(*CALLER)
     H DftActGrp(*NO)
Why depend on your memory to get it right (providing you are only using 
PDM and not a make tool or a change management system)?
