Hi all,

Apologies in advance for the long post, hoping someone can help me out.

The problem is as follows:

Data is sent via EDI and translated onto six files.
A job is submitted for each EDI file reference to process the data.
The data is read using a multi-format logical which includes a particular
field in the key.
These jobs are submitted to a one-at-a-time jobq.

The translated EDI data sometimes looks something like this:

Key field File reference
5 2
6 2
7 2
8 1
9 1
10 2
11 2

The problem is that when this scenario occurs, the job to process file
reference 1 is fine but the job to process file reference 2 which runs after
the first one completes only processes the records with the key field values
greater than the first file reference (10 & 11).

I hope that makes some sense.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Martin
