In all honesty no I don't. My situation is this. I have had a 2 week
course
on as/400 operations and a 12 week couse in COBAL/400 and 12 weeks in
RPG/400
IV and 1 year on the job here Problem is.. I'm working at a company with

only RPG III so i'm pretty stuck with limited resources here.. I dont even

think they have SQL/400 ,but they might cause i can access STRSQL and i
beleave thats part of sql/400 if im not mistaken. I think i may have a
answer to my problem "if all else fails' they rarely request all sections
so
I'm thinking of creating a rpg program that will build an temp extract
file
that will hold information to be reported on and have a logical key that
for
the name sorting process. that way i wont have to make a modification to
the
origanal base program. I guess a preprocessor of sorts. The origanal
program
only takes about 5 seconds to run a normal request.. But i'm always
willing
to test out the sql option. Just need a little background info on how to
do
so.

Thanx,
Chris
