Found it. Dopey me-- I was sending the message to Call Stack Entry = "*", Call Stack Counter = 0. Stupidly, on my part, this is the current function! What I needed to do was send the message back a level-- Call Stack Entry "*", Call Stack Counter = 1. That way, the message ends up with the driver program where I wants it. Sorta like SNDPGMMSG MSGQ(*PRV).

Sorry, all. But thanks for reading and posting.

I'm trying to sort something out in a program and I know I'm missing
something... here goes:

Who does SNDAPPMSG send the message to, Doc?

Maybe you could something real simple like having a very high stack entry
called, I dunno, "TOPPGM", which calls both drivers, and have SNDPGMMSG send
to TOPPGM, and RCVPGMMSG receive from TOPPGM.

Since TOPPGM already exists high up in the stack and is stable, maybe the
message won't get lost. Just a thought.
