RE: Day of the Week

The RTVDAT utility would seem to give what was desired.  I have not tried it 
yet, however, it looks very resourceful.

That only works for the current date.  They needed it for a "given" date.

Use System value "DayOfWeek" from a CL and pass to RPG or run from within
RPG.
