Lets not forget about the %DIV bif it does not work like the DIV op-code as
the first impression of the name might suggest.  

What bothers me the most is that IBM should not have named a bif like an
op-code and not have it perform the same function.

Actually, most don't work the same.  There are little differences.  For
example
- LOOKUP sets %FOUND but %LOOKUP doesn't. 
- XLATE doesn't change the size of a varying result field but assigning
%XLATE to something does, because EVAL does.
