There is a WDSC-L mailing list for those who want to get into the WDSC
trenches.  I have to be rather circumspect in what I say, but based on
knowledge given out at iSeries DevCon (and, I understand, the last COMMON or
two), there is a new Sheriff in town, WDSC5.  While the previous release of
WDSC used CODE pretty exclusively for editing iSeries source, the new
version is extending the capabilities of the embedded LPEX editor (currently
used for Java, JSP, CSS, and so on) to include RPG, CL, COBOL and other
types of iSeries source editing.

Is it as good as CODE?  You'll have to get it and find out.  As far as CODE
itself goes, I believe it's still available as an option for WDSC5, but I
have no idea how long that support will last.
