Nelson, I am not sure what you are trying to do. An iSeries file does not
require a .txt to live on a PC. I FTP savfs everyday, and, for my purposes
the .savf works very well. Tell me what you are trying to do and then maybe
I can suggest some ideas.

I would like to know if someone could tell me how to change an AS400 file
to have a .TXT extension to send via FTP. After having the .TXT, I need to
zip the file and then send it.

Please let me know if anyone could help.
