× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

The CLEAR *ALL was added to RPGIII also.
But why not just do a CLEAR to the DSPF recfmt instead?

That is only true in RPG III (aka RPG/400).  Convert the program to RPG
IV and
you can use "CLEAR  *ALL   recfmt" even with input only files.  I never
understood that restriction in RPG III syntax, but was glad it was
lifted in RPG IV...
