Find the number of days between some known Day-of-the-week and your
date-of-interest. Divide those days by 7 (That's the number of whole weeks
in between the two dates and is of no interest to you)

However, the remainder holds the offset (in days) from Day-of-the-week to
your target day. Count the days, and bobs your uncle, you have the day of
the week.

Subject: Day of the week

If I know the date, 20021215 for instance, is there an easy way to determine
the day of the week, (Monday, Tuesday, etc..). I cannot find an example of
this in any of the documentation that we have or any online documentaion.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,.
