Scott,

I agree with your process for Himanshu, however, if everyone in here replied
with this much "arrogance", no one would want the reply! While there are
brilliant people out there that can give wisdom, no one wants to be talked
down, especially when asking for help!

This question is too broad..

You didn't ask anything specific, or provide any information about what
you plan to do with the resulting array.

Learning computer programming is something that has to be done in steps.
You have to understand one concept before we can explain the next concept
to you.

For example, are you familiar with pointers? Do you understand how
memory allocation works? You need to know these things in order to
understand how a dynamic array would work.

A complete lesson on how to do all of this would simply be too much for an
e-mail message. Start by reading about these things in a book. Once
you understand the concepts, try writing a program that uses them.

When you have problems getting your program to work, or you need an
example of a working program, or you do not understand some specific detail
of the process, then come back here and ask us.

Or, even if you wanted to know opinions of the best way to create a
dynamic set of data for a SPECIFIC APPLICATION, then you might ask us for
our opinions.

But, don't expect us to teach you everything about a complex programming
topic from the ground up! Be specific about what you want to know!
